Welcome to the world's biggest ski area

Set in the heart of the 3 Valleys, Méribel enjoys a privileged position with access to a huge range of runs, thanks to a ski area, the biggest in the world, served by a superb network of 166 ski lifts. As its name suggests, the 3 Valleys ski area comprises three valleys: Bozel, Les Allues and Belleville. These valleys are home to 8 ski resorts, the most famous being Méribel, Courchevel, Val Thorens and Les Menuires.

The 3 Valleys area ranges from 1300 to 3230 m altitude, with 600 km of directly linked pistes, for a total of 328 runs (50% of the runs are green and blue). It's the stuff skiers from all over the world dream of, eager to explore these three valleys! The ski area has excellent orientation, enjoying good snow conditions but also beautiful sunny days.

The 3 Valleys ski area is fully equipped, with 2,100 snow cannons to counter any lack of snow in some years, on in lower levels of the valleys It is easily accessible by road, and for the well-funded, by air to the Méribel and Courchevel altiports.

A true "Skiing Eldorado", the area is generally open from the start of December to the end of April. Top-flight organisation means well marked routes and ever-present piste maps, so no getting lost in the "Grand Domaine"!
